creating your reality: the magic of manifestation journals 🌙🔮🙏🏼

in the journey of self-discovery and well-being, mindfulness and yoga often take center stage. but have you ever considered the potent combination of these practices with the art of manifestation? enter the world of manifesting journals — a powerful tool for manifesting your dreams, fostering mindfulness, and inviting abundance into your life.

what is a manifesting journal?

at its core, a manifesting journal is a sacred space where you document your intentions, desires, and goals, utilizing the principles of the law of attraction, positive thinking, and mindfulness. it’s a place where you not only clarify your dreams but also cultivate the belief that they can become your reality.

why start a manifesting journal?

  1. clarity and focus: manifesting journals help you gain clarity on your desires and goals, allowing you to focus your energy and attention on what truly matters to you.
  2. positive mindset: writing down your intentions in a manifesting journal reinforces a positive mindset, shifting your perspective towards opportunities and possibilities.
  3. mindfulness and presence: the act of journaling encourages mindfulness, as you become fully present while documenting your intentions and visualizing your desired outcomes.
  4. motivation and accountability: a manifesting journal serves as a source of motivation and self-accountability, keeping you on track with your goals.
  5. manifestation power: when you consistently write, visualize, and affirm your intentions, you amplify the manifestation process, bringing your desires closer to reality.

what you need to get started:

  1. a dedicated journal: choose a journal or notebook that resonates with you. it can be as simple or elaborate as you like, as long as it feels special and personal.
  2. writing tools: use pens, markers, or colored pencils to make your entries visually appealing and engaging.
  3. quiet space: find a quiet and comfortable space where you can focus without distractions.
  4. open heart and mind: approach your manifesting journal with an open heart and mind, ready to explore your desires and dreams.

how to get started:

  1. set your intentions: begin by defining your specific goals and desires. what do you want to manifest in your life? write them down in present-tense, positive affirmations.
  2. daily entries: commit to making daily entries in your manifesting journal. write as if your desires have already been realized, and infuse your entries with emotion and belief.
  3. visualization: take a moment to close your eyes, visualize your desires as if they’ve come true, and then write about that experience.
  4. gratitude: express gratitude for what you already have, as gratitude is a powerful attractor of abundance.
  5. affirmations: include positive affirmations related to your goals, reinforcing your belief in their manifestation.
  6. consistency: make journaling a daily ritual. the key to successful manifesting journaling is consistency and belief.

remember that the power of manifestation lies within your belief and intention. by combining mindfulness and the art of manifestation, you’re tapping into the incredible potential to create the life you’ve always dreamed of. 🌙🔮🙏🏼

setting the tone for a peaceful and purposeful day 🌻

it’s all too easy to rush through our mornings without a second thought. we’re often so preoccupied with to-do lists and responsibilities that we forget to take a moment for ourselves. but what if we started our day with intention, setting the tone for a peaceful and purposeful day ahead? the mindful morning routine, a practice that not only nurtures your soul but also brings a myriad of benefits to your life.

1. wake up with gratitude: as your eyes flutter open, resist the urge to grab your phone or jump out of bed immediately. instead, take a deep breath and begin your day by expressing gratitude. reflect on the things you’re thankful for, whether it’s the warmth of your cozy blankets, the gentle sunlight streaming through your window, or the simple fact that you have a new day to experience.

2. mindful movement: stretch your limbs and let your body awaken gradually. this is a perfect time to incorporate some gentle yoga or stretching exercises. allow your movements to be slow and deliberate, paying attention to each sensation as you stretch and breathe. it’s a beautiful way to connect your body and mind, setting the stage for a harmonious day.

3. savor your morning beverage: whether it’s a cup of herbal tea, warm water with lemon, or your favorite coffee, use this moment to engage all your senses. feel the warmth of your mug, inhale the aroma deeply, and savor each sip. this simple act can transform your morning beverage into a mindful meditation.

4. connect with nature: if possible, step outside and immerse yourself in nature, even if only for a few moments. feel the earth beneath your feet, listen to the birdsong, and take in the beauty of the natural world around you. nature has a way of grounding us and reminding us of the wonder of life.

5. mindful breathing: find a comfortable seat or simply stand with your feet planted firmly on the ground. close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath. inhale slowly through your nose, feeling the air fill your lungs, and exhale gently through your mouth. continue this mindful breathing for a few minutes, focusing solely on your breath. it’s a powerful practice that can calm your mind and reduce stress.

6. set your intentions: before diving into the demands of the day, take a moment to set your intentions. what do you hope to achieve today? how do you want to feel? by clarifying your intentions, you provide yourself with a roadmap for the day ahead, helping you stay mindful and purposeful.

7. digital detox: resist the urge to check your emails or social media as soon as you wake up. instead, give yourself a digital detox during your mindful morning routine. this allows you to start your day without the distractions and demands of the online world, promoting a sense of inner peace.

benefits of a mindful morning routine:

  1. reduced stress: starting your day mindfully can help lower stress levels and set a calmer tone for the day.
  2. improved focus: mindfulness can enhance your ability to concentrate and make clearer decisions.
  3. enhanced well-being: regular mindfulness in the morning can boost your overall sense of well-being and contentment.
  4. increased resilience: mindful routines can help you better navigate challenges and setbacks throughout the day.
  5. heightened awareness: it allows you to fully experience the present moment, fostering a deeper connection with yourself and your surroundings.

remember, a mindful morning routine is a personal journey, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. tailor it to your preferences and needs, but always carry the essence of mindfulness with you. by dedicating time to nurture your soul in the morning, you’re not just starting your day; you’re embarking on a voyage of self-discovery, growth, and serenity. make it a daily ritual, and watch as it transforms your life, one mindful morning at a time. 🌞

a guided practice for the full moon

the beauty and mystery of the full moon have captivated humanity for centuries. as we approach the upcoming full moon, let’s delve into the significance of this celestial event and explore how we can harness its energy to enhance our well-being through yoga, wellness, and mindfulness practices.

the full moon: a symbol of completion and illumination

the full moon is a powerful symbol of completion, illumination, and heightened energy. just as the moon shines its light in the darkest of nights, it encourages us to shed light on the areas of our lives that need attention. this phase of the lunar cycle often signifies a time of culmination, reflection, and release.

embracing the benefits and opportunities of the full moon

  1. release and let go: the full moon provides an excellent opportunity to release what no longer serves us. this could be negative emotions, old habits, or thoughts that hold us back. by letting go, we make space for new and positive experiences.
  2. self-reflection: the full moon invites us to look inward and reflect on our goals, aspirations, and progress. it’s a chance to acknowledge how far we’ve come and to reevaluate our intentions.
  3. heightened intuition: many believe that the full moon enhances our intuition and connection to our inner selves. this can aid decision-making and self-discovery.
  4. amplified energy: the energy during the full moon is often vibrant and intense. channel this energy into creative endeavors, physical activities, and mindfulness practices.

full moon yoga and mindfulness practice

To fully embrace the energy of the upcoming full moon, here’s a simple practice that combines yoga, mindfulness, and intention-setting:

1. evening yoga flow: connecting with the moon

begin with a gentle yoga flow to connect with the energy of the moon. incorporate poses that encourage openness and release, such as forward folds, child’s pose, and crescent moon stretches.

2. moonlit meditation: setting intentions

as the moon rises, find a quiet space outdoors or by a window where you can see the moon. sit comfortably and close your eyes. take a few deep breaths to center yourself.

visualize the moon’s radiant light bathing you in its glow. as you bask in its light, set your intentions for this lunar cycle. what do you wish to release? what do you aspire to achieve? allow these intentions to flow naturally.

3. lunar journaling: reflecting and releasing

after your meditation, grab your journal. reflect on the intentions you’ve set. write down any thoughts, emotions, or insights that arise. consider writing a letter to yourself, addressing any fears, doubts, or limitations you wish to release.

4. full moon salutations: embracing transformation

move through a few rounds of moon salutations (chandra namaskar) as a symbolic representation of the moon’s phases and the transformation they inspire. flow through poses like standing forward fold, extended triangle pose, and half moon pose.

5. savasana and moon bathing: integrating the practice

end your practice in savasana (corpse pose). as you lie down, visualize yourself bathing in the moon’s gentle light, absorbing its energy and the intentions you’ve set.

as the full moon approaches, let’s remember that it’s not only a celestial phenomenon but also a chance for inner growth and self-awareness. by aligning our intentions and practices with the moon’s energy, we can release what no longer serves us and step into a renewed sense of purpose and positivity.

embrace this full moon as a time of transformation and illumination. may your journey through this lunar cycle be filled with self-discovery, mindfulness, and the joy of embracing the cycles of nature. 🌟

a season of reflection, reset, and renewal

as the leaves begin to change and a gentle breeze carries a hint of crispness, september welcomes us with open arms into a new season. just like the natural world around us, our lives also go through seasons of change and transformation. this september, let’s harness the energy of this transition to foster personal growth, mindfulness, and the renewal of our intentions. in the realm of yoga, wellness, and mindfulness, this season offers a golden opportunity to delve deep within ourselves, reflect on our journey, and set fresh intentions for the path ahead.

reflecting on the journey

the shift from one season to another encourages us to pause and reflect on the journey we’ve traveled thus far. take some time to sit in quiet contemplation. find a comfortable seat, close your eyes, and breathe deeply. allow your thoughts to flow like a gentle stream. what have you achieved? what lessons have you learned? what obstacles have you overcome? acknowledge your growth and your challenges with a heart full of gratitude. in this reflection, you’ll find the seeds of wisdom that will guide you forward.

resetting with mindful practices

just as trees shed their leaves, letting go of what no longer serves them, we too can release the burdens that weigh us down. this september, make space for new beginnings by embracing mindful practices that promote mental and emotional clarity. try journaling to free your mind of clutter and gain insights into your inner world. engage in gentle yoga sequences that focus on grounding and centering poses, allowing you to connect with the present moment and find balance amid change. by nurturing your body and mind, you create a fertile ground for new intentions to take root.

setting intentions for the season

with a heart cleansed of clutter and a mind open to possibilities, it’s time to set intentions for the coming months. what do you aspire to achieve? how do you want to grow? what qualities do you want to cultivate within yourself? whether it’s deepening your yoga practice, practicing self-care, fostering meaningful relationships, or exploring new avenues of learning, let your intentions be a compass guiding you towards a purposeful journey.

challenge of the month: gratitude and growth

this september, I invite you to take on a challenge that blends gratitude and growth. every day, take a few moments to jot down three things you’re grateful for and one way in which you’d like to grow. this practice encourages you to acknowledge the blessings in your life while also nudging you towards continuous self-improvement. watch how this simple exercise shifts your perspective and sets a positive tone for your days.

quote of the week:

“just as a flower does not pick and choose its color, we are not responsible for what we have come to be. only once you realize this do you become free.”

kamand kojouri

this insightful quote reminds us that embracing ourselves, exactly as we are, leads to true freedom. just as each season brings its unique beauty, our personal seasons of growth and change contribute to the exquisite tapestry of our lives.

as september unfolds, may you find solace in the rhythm of transition, courage in your reflections, and inspiration in your intentions. let this season be a reminder that like the earth around us, we too can bloom anew with each passing season.

so, take a deep breath, step onto your mat, and let the magic of september envelop you in its embrace of renewal.

embracing the waning crescent moon phase

🌙 as the moon cycles through its phases, each one offers unique energy and opportunities for growth. the waning crescent moon phase, which occurs just before the new moon, is a time of reflection and release.

during this phase, the moon appears as a thin crescent in the sky, with most of its surface dark and hidden from view. this symbolizes the need to let go of old patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that no longer serve us.

it’s a time to release negative emotions, grudges, and attachments that are holding us back. to make the most of this phase, take some time to reflect on what you need to let go of in your life. write down any thoughts or feelings that come up, and then burn or tear up the paper as a symbolic act of release.

you can also meditate, practice yoga, or engage in any other activity that helps you connect with your inner self and release stagnant energy. by embracing the waning crescent moon phase, we can clear out the old and make space for the new.

it’s a powerful time to set intentions for the upcoming new moon and start fresh with a clean slate. emember to be gentle with yourself during this process and trust that the universe has your back. trust that letting go of what no longer serves you will make room for new opportunities and growth in your life.

so take some time this waning crescent moon phase to reflect and release. your future self will thank you for it.

practice daily gratitude

“gratitude is a powerful catalyst for happiness. It’s the spark that lights a fire of joy in your soul.”

– Amy Collette

just because thanksgiving is over, that doesn’t mean we should stop giving thanks and expressing our gratitude. gratitude is a powerful tool you can use to shift your perception and live a happier life.

when you practice gratitude, you live a more mindful life; noticing everyday blessings that we tend to take for granted. set time aside each day to reflect on the things you are grateful for.

there is always something to be grateful for – no thing is too small, too silly, or too insignificant. be grateful for being alive; for the ability to breathe. be grateful for the sun rising; and the beautiful starry nights. be grateful for your favorite song; for the sound of raindrops on your window. be grateful for laughter; for the joy in your life.

“this is a wonderful day I have never seen this one before.”

Maya Angelou

gratitude may seem simple, but its impact is significant. savor every moment, life is much sweeter that way.

today I am grateful for christmas tree, my delicious cup of tea, and my comfortable bed. what about you?

creating a safe space

one change I have made in my life that has worked wonders in my spiritual life and journey was creating a safe space for myself. now you might be wondering – what exactly is a “safe space?” a safe space is place or environment where you can show up as your most authentic self, feeling completely safe and comfortable. no judgment, no hesitation, no anxiety. a place for you to go where you can completely let go, let your guard down, and just be.

there is no right or wrong when creating your safe space. your safe space is yours and it can be whatever you need it be. personally, I like my safe space to have music. sometimes silence is soothing to me, and other times it’s anxiety provoking. I have a playlist on my phone that I made specifically for my safe space – songs that ease my mind, relax me, and make me feel at peace.

your safe space can be as big or small as you’d like – it can be your entire home, your bedroom, or maybe just a little corner (that’s where mine is). first, think about any objects that bring you comfort – candles, pictures, trinkets, blankets, crystals, etc. now, think about any senses that bring your comfort – certain smells, visuals, sounds, tastes, sensations. maybe you’d like to cleanse the room before you bask in your safe space, and here are a couple great ways to do so;

sage

incense

fresh air

essential oils

candles

palo santo

salt

now that you have your safe space use it to for whatever your heart desires; yoga, meditation, manifesting, journaling, breathing, praying, daydreaming… the possibilities are endless. 🙏🏼✨🔮🦋💫

protect your energy🦋💫🔮

let’s talk about protecting your energy🦋💫🔮 tiny vibrating strings of energy make up every particle in the universe – including you and me. protecting your energetic field will allow you to vibrate at a higher frequency and in turn bring you closer to enlightenment.

“Everything is energy. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

Albert Einstein

energy is highly contagious and you should be selective of who you allow in your space. aim to vibrate so high that the toxic people in your life have no choice but to fall out of your frequency. emit the type of energy that no matter where you go, you always add value to the spaces and lives around you. here are a few simple ways that you can protect your energy, and in turn, maintain good vibrations;

set & create boundaries

it is so important to make sure you are setting healthy boundaries with the people in your life. respect and love yourself enough to protect your emotional space. you are allowed to teach people how to treat you. name your limits, learn to say no, and don’t apologize for yourself – it’s okay to do what you need to do for yourself.

choose your battles

your energy and time are limited and not every battle is worth fighting. you do not have to drain your emotional, physical, and mental well-being – it’s okay to walk away.

cut the cord

it is perfectly okay to outgrow relationships – no matter who the person is. you do not have to be available to everyone. cut the energy cord between you and people who no longer serve you – take your power back.

“If you walked away from a toxic, negative, abusive, one-sided, dead-end low vibrational relationship or friendship — you won.”

Lalah Delia

it’s okay to cancel a commitment.

it’s okay to not answer that call.

it’s okay to change your mind.

it’s okay to want to be alone.

it’s okay to take a day off.

it’s okay to do nothing.

it’s okay to speak up.

it’s okay to let go.

stand up for yourself and your well-being. you are worth it. 🦋💫🔮

manifesting your dreams: the power of visualization & positive energy✨

“Anything you can imagine, you can create.”

Whatever energy you put into the Universe is exactly what you will receive back from it. The Law of Attraction is the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life. You hold the power to change your life by the positive energy you bring to each day. We all have the ability to manifest our reality, but just like anything else in life, manifestation takes practice.
Here are some of my favorite tips & tricks to help you manifest anything you want in life✨

1) Practice Gratitude!

In most cases, the Universe does not allow us to move forward until we have honored where we are right now. Positive energy vibrates at a higher level than negative energy. Practicing gratitude will naturally increase your vibrational energy, and if your thoughts, words, & intentions are in alignment with what you want, it is that much easier to attract!

2) Visualize It!

Visualize what you want, and be specific!

“By imagining what it would look and feel like to live out our goals, we can also light up the neuromuscular pathways that connect our brain to our muscles. Doing so can help our brains start to consider what it would feel like to have already achieved that goal.”

Writing down what you want, creating a vision board, or meditating are all great techniques for visualizing what you want! Do what works best for you!

3) Trust the Universe!

“The moment I embrace my peace within and surrender the outcome, is the moment that the Universe can truly get to work”.

Patience does not come easily to me, and I am a bit of a ✨control freak✨, so believe me when I say I know how hard this one can be.

Remember when we talked about positive thinking? When you start to have doubts, recognize them, and focus your mindset back to positive thinking. Ask for signs from the Universe to ease your doubts!
Remember, If your thoughts, words, & intentions are in alignment with what you want, it is that much easier to attract!

TRUST! TRUST! TRUST!
“A dream can be a dream come true, with just that spark from me and you.” ✨🌌🔮🙏🏼

Go manifest your dreams!!! Xo

setting intentions for the new year.

To me, ringing in the New Year is more than just champagne and polaroids. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good photo op and some bubbly as much as the next girl, but this year, I want to use the New Year as an opportunity to reset, reflect, and refresh.

One of my biggest goals for the New Year is to live more intentionally. So, what does that mean exactly? Living intentionally is about asking yourself the why. Why are you doing what you’re doing? What is your purpose? It requires slowing down, thinking about the why, and being mindful of your actions.

Think about a moment in your life where you felt blissful, happy, and content. Now, what was it about that moment that made you feel that way? There is one moment in my life that I go back to all the time;

Back in 2017, I was on a work trip with some family and friends. We were in Disney World trying to make it to the park in time to watch the fireworks show. We left a little too late so we were running as fast as we could to try to catch the bus. I was exhausted, my feet were killing me, and I was stressed about the possibility of missing the bus.

I had taken a moment to stop and catch my breath, mostly due to my inability to run😂, and I glanced up at the sky. The colors were so vibrant, it looked like a watercolor landscape. It was the prettiest sunset I had ever seen. I could not believe that I had been so caught up in focusing on the future, that I hadn’t even noticed how stunning the sky looked. I started wondering how many beautiful moments in my life I had let slip by unnoticed and unappreciated.

I took the moment as an opportunity to express gratitude; I stopped, looked, and appreciated. It felt like a little reminder from the universe for me to slow down more often and savor the moment.

Luckily, before catching the bus, I snapped a photo of the sunset. There is NO FILTER on this photo, it was really THAT pretty. When you stop and look around, this life is pretty amazing.

So what was it about this moment that made me so content?

1) It made me appreciate how grateful I am to live the life I live.

2) It made me appreciate how beautiful this world we were given is.

3) It reminded me to always take a minute to cherish the now.

Intentional living isn’t a perfect fix, life isn’t supposed to be perfect. However, it WILL encourage us to identify our priorities and values and live in alignment with them every day.

So here’s to a year of intentional living!
